We firmly believe postpartum recovery goes well beyond the “fourth trimester” and want you to feel supported through your full recovery.
This session may include any of the following, or bring your own unique concerns to the appointment.

The Postnatal Return to Run Prep
Detailed guidance and support for moving through the return to run process post-baby. Your body has been through a lot! And returning to impact activity like running is something that should be done in a measured and progressive way.
No one is ready to jump right back into running at 6 weeks postpartum. Even if you’re feeling good and you were strong pre-pregnancy, the tissues in your body are still stretched and healing. Returning to impact too early or without a gradual build of strength can lead to worsening of maternal diagnoses or new onset down the road.
This session is designed to get you confidently moving along our proven return to run progression and back ino safe strength training and sustainable running.
This session may include any of the following, or bring your own unique concerns to the appointment!
-
·A thorough movement, posture and breathing assessment appropriate to your current status and how far postpartum you are. If you have already returned to running we may also include a running gait analysis if we deem it safe.
·Specific exercise guidance for the 4th trimester (first 12 weeks postpartum) and what you can/should be doing each week to build toward your ultimate goal of running that is specific to you based on our assessment.
·Education and support for postpartum pain such as back pain, pubic symphysis pain, hip pain, etc.
When to come? We suggest as early as the 6 week mark! But once postpartum always postpartum. We will design our session around where you’re at.
