Meet Garrett

  • The founder of The Pilates Rx, Allie Duffy is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, an expert in movement analysis, and a certified Pilates instructor. After finding many limitations with traditional exercise programs for herself, and her patients, Allie turned to Pilates for a new approach. She has worked with clients ranging from “weekend warriors” to professional athletes and has seen the transformative powers of Pilates in their movement efficiency. Allie is a "movement optimist" at heart and seeks to use movement as medicine to empower clients to build trust in their own bodies through a fitness experience informed by science. You can expect precision cueing, leaving no detail left untouched, emphasizing full body alignment, and of course the integration of breath & mindfulness to promote holistic healing.

  • Meg Gerber, (RD, LD, IFNCP, CGN) is a Functional Medicine Dietitian, best selling author, breath work teacher and the founder of Grounded Nourishment. Meg combines individualized nutrition, functional testing, targeted supplements and nervous system support tools to help those that struggle with digestive and autoimmune conditions heal. Through her own journey of digestive struggles and autoimmunity, Meg has learned the power being in your body and listening to its needs.

    Her cookbook is available for purchase on Amazon, and her expertise has been featured on Mindbodygreen , Any Question and TZR.

  • Garrett Wood Kusmierz is a mindset coach, entrepreneur and author. She launched her first coaching business in 2014 with a focus on the body, guiding clients through physical transformations in fat loss and fitness. Along her own spiritual journey, she realized the body is a gateway, and began helping clients work through bigger mindset shifts in their personal and professional lives with intensive 1:1 coaching and meditation. She's worked with entrepreneurs, and healers, to corporate professionals to bring their dreams into reality.

    Motherhood was an awakening for Garrett and now she's on a mission to preserve and enhance the sacred bond between mama and baby, one nontoxic, comforting product at a time.

  • All accommodations, daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert + lots of snacks), activities (reformer pilates, sauna + cold plunge too!) and a curated gift bag are included. Travel insurance and transportation to and from the retreat are not included. Please note the price is per person, and each room is designed to house 2 attendees.

  • Nope! Mat classes will be appropriate for all-levels, and reformer sessions will be tailored to your body + experience level.

  • Most our attendees are arriving alone, and you can rest assured you’ll be amongst a group of conscious, like minded women with lots of time + activities to get to know one another. It’s a great opportunity to connect + make some new friends!

  • Please note, transportation to the retreat is not included. The nearest airport is BTV (Burlington VT) , approximately a 1 hour drive away. Plan to arrive at Sterling Forest Lodge between 3-4 PM on Thursday November 2nd. Departure is at 12 PM on Sunday November 5th.

  • We will send out a more detailed packing list as the trip gets closer :)

  • Absolutely not! We want this retreat to be restful + restorative for all, and while we have built lots of free time into the schedule we understand you may choose to take more.

  • Yes! Each room (aside from the Bunk Room) has the option to be set up as 2 twin beds or 1 king sized bed. We will reach out to each guest prior to the retreat to confirm which set up you’d prefer. Each room has it’s own bathroom, some are en-suite + some are nearby in the hallway. If you wish to have a room to yourself please contact us directly for more information.
